Are these rumours about Jaina taking over Dalaran true?

And Dalaran kicking out the Sunreavers?

And Dalaran turning back to the Alliance?

Because if so--I am very, very, VERY unhappy.

ETA: AND SHE'S GETTING WITH KALEC?!?!?!

MMO, based on datamining and other such things.

A lot is speculation, I think, based on the book blurb too. It says something about a focusing iris being used to destroy the city, which is in Dalaran, and a mana-bomb, which means that the Sunreavers/belves are the most likely candidates. And a blood elf spy is involved somehow.

So I fear the magisters will take the fall for this, Silv!! *cowers* I'm scurred!

I was on MMO champ, too, which is the home of mad speculation, I'm aware.

I'm actually drifting away from Warcraft fandom more and more in terms of writing--though I still read a fair bit in it--so on the one hand I'm like, "Eh, so what if they derail my favourite characters and take away everything that makes them great!" but on the other I'm still really, really concerned about who, precisely, is going to be in the final Garrosh fights...

I don't see why the Sunreavers would do this. Unless Aethas is really KT after all and causing massive trouble.

(WHAT? P2 of that thread says "Remember how Grand Magister Rommath was also supposed to be exposed as a Twilight's Hammer member?" !!!)

I agree, it doesn't make sense. Aethas seems to have very positive feelings towards Jaina/other Alliance sorcerers, and his colleagues who don't have no reason to attack Theramore as opposed to say, High Elves, or the Kirin Tor. BAH!

nono, apparently the Rommath thing was a Cata plot point that was dropped - quoted as an example of "storylines in a beta that don't make it to release."

Anyhow, if the Sunreavers help destroy Theramore because a "Sunreaver mage" steals the Maly focusing iris (and there's talk of a "blood elf spy" .. and if Aethas is the one spearheading getting belves into the Kirin Tor ...

(yeah ... I have to say I've drifted as well. I have a feeling that I'd come back for a post MoP expansion that focusing on the drae and the belves and KJ.)
